Collection of four stories exploring love and acceptance between men as four different stages in the lunar cycle.

The ‘full moon’ story centres on a devoted couple, Hugo (Antonio Velázquez) and Andres (Alejandro de la Madrid) whose relationship is put under strain by the inclusion of a third party. In the ‘new moon’ tale, young boy Mauricio (Gabriel Santoyo) struggles with the attraction he feels for his male cousin Oliver (Sebastián Rivera) in a homophobic environment at home and at school.

Two close friends and fellow students Fito (Cesar Ramos) and Leo (Gustavo Egelhaaf) realise they are falling in love and begin an affair that they have to hide from family and friends in the ‘waxing crescent moon’ segment. Adventure film set in the French Alps in 1943. Based on the Cécile Aubry’s novel about a  young boy who befriends a dog, it is an odyssey of a little boy searching for his mother, of an old man searching for his past, a Resistance fighter searching for love and a German officer searching for forgiveness.

France under German occupation, the story follows seven-year-old orphan Sébastien (Félix Bossuet), who is being cared for by César (Tchéky Karyo), an elderly pastor. When Sébastien meets and befriends a Pyrenean Mountain Dog that he names Belle, the villagers believe the animal to be the mysterious ‘beast’ that has been killing flocks of sheep.

After Belle protects the boy from German soldiers, Lieutenant Peter (Andreas Pietschmann) orders the villagers to find and destroy the dog. As the hunt for Belle gets underway Sébastien tries to save his beloved dog.
