Adapted from the Hermann Hesse novel. Two children, Goldmund and Narziss live in a monastery.

As the years pass they become young men and Goldmund realises that the cloister´s inwardly outlook on life does not coincide with his needs. He sets out on a journey full of adventure. Narziss, however finds his fulfilment by staying in the monastery.

Years later Goldmund returns to the monastery after travelling the world and Narcissus is now an abbot. The two men reflect on the past and the bonds that exist between them.

  1. Why oh why can we not buy a copy of Narcissus and Goldmund anywhere on earth at the moment? Can you please tel us why? This movie only came out in 2020 !!
